Fat Cavitation + Contouring

What is Fat Cavitation?

Ultrasonic fat cavitation is a non surgical procedure that breaks up fat deposits. It is a less expensive alternative to liposuction and other more invasive procedures.

How does fat cavitation work?

Fat cavitation uses low frequency ultrasound waves to target and rupture fat cell membranes in specific areas of the body, inducing a process called cavitation. This causes the release of triglycerides and fatty acids, which are then metabolized and eliminated by the body's natural processes. The treatment stimulates collagen production, improving skin elasticity and firmness while contributing to a smoother appearance.

What are the benefits of fat cavitation?

  • Non-invasive: Fat cavitation does not involve surgery, incisions, or injections, making it a non-invasive alternative to procedures like liposuction. This means there is minimal risk of complications and downtime associated with the treatment.
  • Targeted fat reduction: Fat cavitation targets specific areas of the body where stubborn fat deposits tend to accumulate, such as the abdomen, thighs, hips, and buttocks. It can help reshape and contour these areas, providing a more toned appearance.
  • Pain Free: Unlike surgical procedures, fat cavitation is generally pain free. Clients may experience mild discomfort or a warm sensation during the treatment.
  • Quick treatment sessions: Fat cavitation sessions are relatively quick, typically lasting between 30 to 40 minutes depending on the treatment area. This makes it a convenient option for individuals with busy schedules.
  • Minimal downtime: Since fat cavitation is non-invasive, there is minimal downtime associated with the treatment. Clients can usually resume their normal activities immediately after the session. It is actually recommended to partake in some physical exercise such as a brisk walk.
  • Gradual, natural looking results: While results may vary from person to person, most individuals can expect to see gradual fat reduction and body contouring over several weeks following a series of fat cavitation sessions. This can lead to natural-looking results without drastic changes overnight.

Are there any risks associated with fat cavitation?

There are very few risks associated with this procedure but that doesn't mean there are no side effects. Some side effects can include:

    • Bruising
    • Short term redness
    • Some may experience dips and waves in their skin texture after healing from the procedure however this is rare.

How long does it take to see results?

Clients may begin to see results in as little as two weeks of undergoing a treatment. However, optimal results are typically seen after a series of sessions which will continue to progress over time.

    Is there any aftercare?

It is recommended to stay away from sugar, alcohol and refined carbohydrates after your treatment.

Disclaimer: Fat cavitation is not a substitute for exercise and healthy lifestyle habits. It is designed to target small areas of fat and contour. This is not a treatment for those looking to loose a lot of weight. Individual results may vary, and multiple treatment sessions may be necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

Is aftercare required for Fat Cavitation?

After undergoing fat cavitation treatment, it's essential to follow proper aftercare guidelines to optimise results, promote healing, and minimise the risk of complications. Here are some essential aftercare tips:

    1.  Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to help flush out fat cell remnants and toxins released during the treatment. Adequate hydration is essential for supporting the body's natural detoxification processes and promoting overall health.

    2.  Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine: Limit your intake of alcohol and caffeine in the days following fat cavitation treatment, as these substances can dehydrate the body and interfere with the detoxification process.

    3. Avoid Hot Baths or Saunas: Refrain from taking hot baths, saunas, or steam rooms for at least 24 to 48 hours following fat cavitation treatment, as heat can increase inflammation and swelling in the treated area.
